Monuments of Gravel

Created in 2022 Moments of Gravel chronicles the relatively young discipline of gravel cycling in a sport whose history stretches back well over a century. Already, several races have risen above the rest in importance. Each episode of Monuments of Gravel profiles one of these select races through the vantage of a high-level gravel athlete as they prepare for and race these events.

48 Hours at Pirelli

Pirelli founded in 1872 in Milan Italy is most know manufacture of tires for motor vehicles, but the first tire Pirelli produced was for bicycles. This short documentary explores how all the company’s research and development work, including chemical and physical testing on prototypes at the Pirelli headquarters in the heart of Milan has guided their journey back into bicycle tire production. All located with in a short drive of the headquarters 48 Hours visits one of Pirelli’s factories and see the rubber meet the road at their wet conditions testing track.

48 Hours at Schwalbe

Located in the rolling hills out Cologne Germany, Schwalbe founded by Ralf Bohle, started as a small company importing bicycle components. 48 Hours dives into how a partnership with Korean company Hung-A and multi year bike tour lead to Schwalbe becoming one of the most recognizable brands of bicycles tires. With an eye on innovation Schwalbe brand ethics are lead by the environment and how bicycles and tire manufacturing can push sustainability.
